Joy of the Redeemed - Our mandate.

Our mission is to see restoration and transformation in the lives of ex child soldiers, starting with South Sudanese refugees at Bidi Bidi refugee settlement in Uganda, in Eastern Africa.

We finished a vocational training program for them in January 2023 and now they have moved along with their studies, would you partner with us to help these young men grow even more?

“Yes, there will be an abundance of flowers
and singing and joy!
The deserts will become as green as the mountains of Lebanon,
as lovely as Mount Carmel or the plain of Sharon.
There the Lord will display his glory,
the splendor of our God.”

- Isaiah 35: 2 (NLT)

Our mandate is based on Isaiah 35, that’s where our vision flows from.

In that passage God makes it clear that there WILL be streams in the wasteland, in the dry places. And He gives promises to the weary that when He does come, the lame will leap and the eyes of the blind will be opened - the desert will bloom!

We live to see those promises fulfilled in the lives of these young men and women and in the communities around them through their changed hearts.

Changing the world is possible.
It starts with one person.

We have worked with ex child soldiers since May 2020, and we’ve seen tremendous fruit in their lives through our discipleship program! They testify themselves how they used to feel lost and hopeless in this world, but now through Jesus Christ they have new hope!

Our last big thing was vocational training program that launched in December 2022 and the boys graduated in January 2023. Now they have moved along with their education - would you like to be a part of funding that? Click the button below to donate!
